DENISE STAFF

DENISE CAGLE
Denise started Housesitting by Denise in 1979 offering both petsitting and overnight services throughout the Greater Columbia area.
She has a guinea pig named Hamilton and 2 cats named Norrah and Sandifer who are 3 year old litter mates. They were adopted. Denise enjoys movies, traveling and going to the beach.

LINDA TAYLOR
Linda
has been working with Housesitting by Denise since 2003..She
has a 13 year old son and a terrier named Princess. Linda Taylor has a son in high school and covers the Northeast, Forest Acres area.

WANDA STONE
Wanda
works for the Lexington County and lives in the Lexington area with
her husband, 4 dogs and more than 10 cats. She has been with
Housesitting by Denise since 2004.
She
enjoys providing special care and play time for her clients pets who
live in the Lexington area. |

Linda services the
Downtown Garners Ferry Road and St. Andrews area. She loves
animals and is the proud owner of her special friend.

animals and enjoys spending time with her dog.

Melaney covers the
Lexington area. She has three cats - Crust, Lulu and Doodlebug
Johnson. She also has a fish names Spicy.

SHARON LOVEDAY
Sharon
lives in Irmo with her husband and their 12 year old. Sharon was a
Veterinary Assistant while in college and they have 5 cats and 2 dogs,
all of which were rescued animals. Her dogs are Sid
and Della both are 7.
Her cats are Bubba and
Smokie (Bubba's litter mate).
She also has Miss Kitty (who is mostly deaf and blind), Andy
(without a tail), and Simba (9 months old). PerPur, who we sadly and
suddenly lost last fall to Kidney Failure was 14 and is still very
deeply missed (she was the favorite).

KELLY POWELL
Kelly is the mom of Lucy and Holly, two
rescue beagle
mixes, and a tuxedo cat named Thea. She and her
husband Keith live in the Harborside community of Lake Carolina. She
services the Lake Carolina, Summit, Clemson Rd. and Elgin areas. When
not pet sitting, Kelly works for Nationwide Insurance in Blythewood.

Allison works the West Columbia and Lexington areas. She works for the
University of South Carolina and takes care of her pet cat - Olive.

QUESTIONS WE ARE FREQUENTLY
ASKED
Q. What happens if my sitter becomes ill or injured?
A. There is always a back up sitter available who is trained and aware of your specific needs.
Q. What happens if my pet becomes injured or ill?
A. We are dedicated to excellent care of your pet and have a 24 hr. vet on call. In the event of an emergency we will take your pet to the nearest animal hospital or your own vet. At this same time we will be contacting you or your emergency contact person. The assigned pet sitter will remain with your pet until you are reached and appropriate action is taken.
Q. What is the purpose of the email service confirmation that gets sent when I book a service?
A. The schedule confirmation messages are service we offer primarily for peace of mind for you. Having the dates of service correct, the services to be delivered clearly documented eliminates any possible confusion or misunderstanding. The service confirmations also keep you updated on the status of any credit or balances you may have on file from returning home early or by extending your trip.
Q. If I get a confirmation email message, and
need to adjust the dates of service or services being delivered, what should
I do?
A. You can email the changes to us or you can
call our office. We will make the adjustments to the staff schedule and
send you and updated confirmation. A change fee may be imposed depending on the
season, staff availability, or other factors.
Q. Can
I make changes to my service order using the web?
A. At the present time changes to all service
orders need to be made via email or telephone call. All changes need to be confirmed
by our office.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Checks are made payable to
Housesitting by Denise.
Q. Will I always have the same pet sitter?
A. Yes, your pet sitter is YOUR assigned sitter and someone you can build a long-term relationship with. The only time you would have a different sitter is in the event of illness or injury to your assigned sitter. The backup sitter will be trained and aware of all your needs and will be another
Housesitting by Denise staff pet sitter.
Q.
How are gratuities handled?
A. Gratuity is graciously accepted and may be offered directly to your pet sitter. If you would like to include a gratuity with your payment for pet sitting services you may and the full gratuity will be given to your pet sitter.
